  • 07:00 Departure from Antalya airport
  • 08:30 Arrival in Istanbul, meeting with the guide at the airport 
  • 09:00 Topkapi Palace - the main Palace of the Ottoman Empire until the mid-nineteenth century. Located in the historic center of Istanbul, on the sarayburnu promontory, at the confluence of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn to the Marmara sea. ( Closed on Tuesdays)
  • 11:00 Hagia Sophia — the Holy Wisdom, Hagia Sophia of Constantinople, while Agia Sophia is a former Patriarchal Orthodox Cathedral, later a mosque, now a Museum; the world-famous monument of Byzantine architecture, the symbol of the "Golden age"
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 14:00 Racecourse. Part of Sultanahmet square is the site of the ancient Hippodrome, whose construction was started by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in 203 ads. On the racetrack was held chariot races.
  • 14:30 Blue mosque or the Sultan Ahmet Mosque — the first largest mosque of Istanbul.
  • 17:00 cruise along the Bosphorus - Strait between Europe and Asia Minor, connecting the Black sea with the Marmara.
  • 18:30 Dinner
  • 20:00 transfer to the airport
  • 22:00 Departure to Antalya
  • Next, return to the hotel.

Experience the glories of Istanbul during your time in Antalya with this full-day trip, including flights. Fly to Istanbul for a guided tour. Visit must-sees including the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, and Hippodrome; browse the Egyptian Bazaar; and sail between Europe and Asia on an optional Bosphorus cruise (additional cost). First you will visit Topkapı Palace, the residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting in numerous sections Imperial Treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, Ottoman jewelry, belts and traditional clothes, Chinese porcelain, weapons, etc. After lunch you are going to visit Hippodrome Square, the sporting and social center of Constantinople. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. Next place to visit is Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) located in the center of old city. This historical mosque, unique with 6 minarets, was built in the name of Sultan Ahmet and it is known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. Being an active mosque it is closed for tourists for a half an hour during the five daily prayers. Then you have chance to explore Istanbul from the water on Bosporus sightseeing cruise.
